Meatball is home from a two day stay at the vet's.  He is on Metcam for pain and he is having trouble
with his hindquarters but he is soooo much better than a couple of days ago.  He was in so much pain
that he didn't care anymore and I thought we would have to put him down.  After his cortisone
treatments at the vet, our vet had us go to a chiropractor right after picking him up and he had a laser
therapy treatment.  This is a painless procedure that helps heal tissues by running a special laser over
affected areas.  Will go back on Monday for another treatment with the laser and judge how he is
doing then.  Both the vet and the chiropractor are sure that this was an injury and not genetic, which
gave me a big sigh of relief, even though I knew that he doesn't have any history of back problems in
his lines.  We had that car accident last year and they say that is most certainly the culprit.  Seems that
car accidents injuries often show up months to years after the incident. Here is a video on laser
therapy.
